Read lable first?

In the recent past, many Saudis and expatriate alike have sustained injuries and fatalities as a result of the ignorant use of pesticides, particularly those containing aluminum phosphate. Indeed it is shocking that in the past few months alone, up to 12 people – including a number of children – in the Kingdom have died as a result of the improper use of pesticides.Common pesticides form a necessary part of all households. We need them on a day-to-day basis in order to rid our homes of insects. In using them however, we often forget that pesticides are fundamentally, cocktails of poisonous substances that can adversely affect our health and the environment if not used with common sense and caution.
Children without a country
There are c
hildren who do not have Saudi citizenship even though they have been born to Saudi fathers or mothers. These children face a number of problems that affect their future, such as, not being able to register for school or receive medical treatment. However, the question arises: How can this be? How can these children be deprived of their Saudi citizenship? The following cases show that there are a number of ways in which this might happen. A Saudi may be in another country and might marry a woman and have children with her. He then returns to the Kingdom leaving behind his children without any identification papers. The children then have no recourse but to apply to the Saudi consulate to attempt to prove their nationality. It may also happen that a Saudi girl marries a non-Saudi man. Then the children face the arduous task of obtaining citizenship so that they can be admitted to school, get medical treatment in hospitals, own real estate, as well as enjoy the many other privileges of those who have Saudi citizenship.

Rumors that Singer sewing machines contain the so-called “red mercury” substance has sent prices skyrocketing around the Kingdom, with individuals flocking to markets to pay up to SR200,000 for a single machine. The rumors, which first started circulating a few days ago via the Internet and then the word of mouth, led to a rush for sewing machines that could previously have been bought for as little as SR200.Mansour Al-Turki, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, described the rumors, which have gathered momentum around the Kingdom, “as false and deceptive.”Believers of the rumors say that the presence of a drop of red mercury in the machine’s needle can be verified with a mobile telephone. If the line cuts off when the telephone is placed close to the needle, they say, that proves the existence of the substance. In Al-Jouf, residents were led to believe that a local museum was buying up any Singer sewing machine it could find.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been greatly concerned with the problem of African refugees in Sudan and Somalia, and of the victims of conflicts in Chad. Wedding in Saudi Arabia

Good Luck for the BrideIn Saudi Arabia, when men and women want to get married, they prefer to buy new clothes and throw out old ones. They say this is a new life, so the couple need new clothes.
On the wedding night, the man dresses in white clothes and a long cover called a Bisht, and the woman dresses in white. At the end of the wedding, the man goes with his father and relatives to his marriage room and sits to drink some coffee for a few minutes. Then they leave.
Then the woman comes with her mother and relatives and do the same thing. This removes the stress of the man and the woman, so they are together to start a new life. The morning after the wedding, the man gives a gift to his wife. When the bride and groom start walking to the wedding cake, all the wedding guests move out of the way and look in anticipation at the bride and groom. Then the groom holds the bride's hand carefully and together they hold the knife. After they cut a small piece of the cake, the groom holds the piece of cake and the bride eats a bit of it. After that the bride holds that piece of cake and lets the groom bite another bit of the piece. Then the attendants start cheering and clapping for them. The cutting of the cake symbolizes that the couple have started taking care of each other and looking after each other

When people think about foreign countries their views are generally not all positive or all negative. They usually see both good things, which they like, and others, which they dislike. The quality of life in America like other hand respect time and deal with people especially who are informative. Actually there is more than thing for people how rested other countries and consider American people the best and other worst .second I dislike U.S. Policies. In Iraq and Afghanistan and of recent American foreign policy also for meddle East people they meet trouble when apply to visa to visit America on my point of view there is no freedom.
Story from My childhood

I grew up in a small house with four brothers and four sisters. My dad was working in air forces I admire him. My mom was teacher. One day, when I was perhaps 10 or 12 years old, I was troublemaker especially when I play soccer with my cousins. During my childhood I had two friends one of them older than me and second one younger. I like them so much because they were a part of my team .one day I was very depressed because my friends moving out to other city , but my depression was so severe that I actually prayed to die. Sometime after I had gone to bed, I woke to find myself cry that's time I believed friendship very important.
The right age to get married

The right time to marry is different for each person and unique to each situation. Maturity levels and life experience are varying factors; some people are ready for marriage at 18, and some are never prepared for it. Marriage is not only a commitment, but is a covenant with God. It is the promise to remain with that other person for the remainder of your life, no matter if your partner is rich, poor, healthy, sick, overweight, underweight. Most people are thinking marriage is very important for sexual just, but the marriage its mean new life and more organize for all life.
A Special Gift You Have Given OR Received

I went to my friend birthday party last week. Lots of people gifts, and regular gifts, but the gift that really stood out was the watch his cousins gave him pocket watch engraved with an expression the name and birthday used to share. The birthday was teary, the mother was teary, and the friend had to leave the room for a couple of minutes. What was the best gift you've given, or received, or seen given? That's the best I've seen. My most memorable gift received was a good tennis racket when I was 16, totally unexpected .I would never have asked for something that expensive and totally appreciated! The most recent best gift was the laptop that my father gave me.

My favorite food

Saudi Arabia's food is a reflection of the country's history and its people's customs, religion and ways of life. I like Saudi food I used to have "KABSAH". I will tell you something about my favorite food in my country, when I lived at home I usually had a delicious meal all the time. My mother makes the food called Kasbah which is rice, meat, and potatoes. It has a good smell and taste. In Saudi Arabia we have some good food, but now my favorite food is pizza and hamburgers for dinner. My favorite food in the morning is eggs, bread, cheese, and cornflakes with milk. Sometimes on the weekend I like to eat BBQ. But I still Miss Saudi Arabian food every day. I will always remember my mother’s food as long as I live.

What are the differnces between the universities in Saudi Arabia and TRU

Education systems are different in every country. In the front there is still commonly a criterion. The best professors graduated usually from high reputation universities such as, Harvard, Wisconsin Madison, and Massachusetts institute . However, most universities on the world depend on the research studies to show up their ability. I respect experiment King Fahd for petroleum and minerals to be one of the best three hundred universities on the world. In addition to it is the only university In Saudi Arabia all courses in English. Saudi Arabia there is so many universities especially for women and almost every city has community college for them. I studied in Saudi, and Thompson River University. There so many different like education system, and staff qualification. I would like to make easy comparing between all above universities. First at TRU majority of staff in all department have master degree whereas King Fahd University all staff have PHD. TRU has so many specializations on the other hand KFUM has a few also most of them related to petroleum .KFUM has established since 1965 while TRU has seen a transition from community college to an innovative university-college.TRU is a different kind of university. In fact I like both of them, because it offers knowledge to communities. I wish I gave you overview about my opinion of Education system.

my background

Hi everyone
I would like to take this chance to talk a little bit about myself. I'm Turki AKA Turk. A lot of students know me by face, but they don't know about my adventures. I was born Saudi Arabia, but I was raised up In the United States till five years old that is when my father finished his duty there. My primary education was completed in my home town is Saudi Arabia. In grade ???, I realized education was extremely important to change my life to better , so I decided to moved to capital city in Saudi Arabia to order to gain more Knowledge . I applied for so many universities and eventually I got final acceptance in Imam University. I choose Information system Faculty. I met trouble in the beginning to understand the regulations, but after orientation I understood every thing. English language wasn't required to enter a University. By the grace of God, I completed my degree in four years. Year 2007, was the best time in my whole life – I graduated. I had a hard time to apply for a job, so I determined to continue my graduate studies. I tried to get approval from Information Security college in Malaysia , but unfortunately I got refused. I changed my mind to work for a year to save money then travel to Canada . I got a Job .The job I got was very pretty good. I have had the pleasure of working in American High School Diploma. It was a nice experience. I made a lot of friends from the entire world and learned a lot of skills there. On year later I saved money and then traveled to Canada. I have been in Kamloops since April 2008. I stared studying ESAL from level two at Thompson Rivers University. I studied English and worked hard on my language. I can now read and almost understand every thing. I like Kamloops; it’s a nice city and good community, especially for international students. I didn't even feel bored because there are so many activities at university. I lived with home stay for a while, but now I'm staying with room share. I learned how to depend on myself for washing, cooking, cleaning and studying. Finally I hope I gave you a good over view about myself.
